Dr. Abdul Riyad Poolamanna, an exceptionally talented cardiothoracic surgeon, is one of the big names in the field of surgery. After completing MBBS in 2002 from Al Ameen Medical College, Bijapur, Karnataka, he procured mastery in MS General Surgery from Yenepoya Medical College, Mangalore. He further upgraded his advanced surgical skills by doing M.Ch.in Cardiothoracic Surgery from Calicut Medical College. He is adept in dealing with complex high-risk indicated procedures involved in heart and lung transplantation. He served as an Assistant Professor in Government Medical College Thiruvananthapuram.
