First in India: Medtronic PulseSelect™️ PFA launches in the subcontinent

Proud to share that our team at MICC Calicut has successfully completed the first series of AF ablation cases in India using Medtronic’s PulseSelect™️ Pulsed Field Ablation system . Three procedures were performed with full integration of 3D electroanatomic mapping and intracardiac echocardiography (ICE in the LA). It is for the First time that PFA in done with 3 D mapping and ICE integration in our country . Importantly, PulseSelect offers a cost-effective option for the Indian healthcare landscape , a critical factor in making PFA accessible to the large number of AF patients who stand to benefit from this technology across our country. A sincere thank you to Medtronic for their partnership and support in bringing this technology to India, and to their field team for outstanding case support throughout the launch. Grateful as well to the entire MICC team for making this milestone possible. Excited for what this means for AF patients across India. PFA is definitely going to be a game changer and will become the standard of care for AF ablations in India too like the rest of the world .
